In the autumn of 2018 Frascati Symphonic brings a completely early-romantic programme to the Flemish concert halls. Moreover, the orchestra takes the audience on an exciting trip to Italy in both the overture in Italian style by Franz Schubert and the fourth symphony 'the Italian' by Felix Mendelssohn.

In between, another monument from the early-romantic era will be performed: the cello concerto by Robert Schumann. Eightteen-year-old cello virtuoso Felix Vermeirsch shows that he is Queen Elizabeth Competition material.

Franz Schubert: Overture in Italian style, D591

Robert Schumann: Cello concerto in A minor, op. 129

Felix Mendelssohn: Symphony no. 4, "the Italian", op. 90

Frascati Symphonic conducted by Kris Stroobants
